Dr. Anisha Abraham is an NHRA licensed clinical psychologist with over 17+ years of experience working closely with clients to help them gain a deeper understanding of their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. She has worked across diverse clinical and academic settings, including a university, a tertiary care hospital, a general hospital, and a clinic. Dr. Anisha currently serves as the Treasurer of the Middle East Psychological Association- Bahrain Chapter. She is also actively involved in mental health advocacy and regularly engages with the community to promote awareness, education, and support for various mental health causes.
Dr. Anisha earned a PhD from the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore, India. Her extensive clinical training includes psychological assessments, child and adolescent mental health, neuropsychology, addiction support, consultation–liaison psychology, psychiatric and neurological rehabilitation, behavioral medicine, and family/systemic therapy.
Dr. Anisha provides comprehensive psychometric assessments, including evaluations of developmental and cognitive functioning, learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, personality, and giftedness, among other areas. She also offers evidence-based therapy for a wide range of concerns such as anxiety disorders (Generalized anxiety, OCD, social anxiety, phobias, panic attacks), depression, anger dysregulation, ADHD, oppositional defiant behaviors, grief, and related emotional or behavioral challenges.
